Looking for a meaningful way to honor and celebrate the life of your beloved animal companion?

Join us for a special National Pet Memorial Day workshop to remember, reflect, and heal.

This special gathering provides a sacred space to remember the animals who have passed, reflecting on the love, joy, and memories they brought into our lives.

In this workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to share a brief story and a picture of the animal you’re honoring, creating a space for healing and gratitude. Together, we will build a temporary altar to pay tribute to our companions, followed by a guided meditation to connect with the love they gave us. We’ll conclude with a group ceremony to honor their memory and the deep bond shared.

Whether you are remembering an animal who passed recently or long ago, this workshop provides a supportive community to share memories, express gratitude, and heal through reflection. Join us as we come together to celebrate the lasting impact our animals have on our hearts and lives.

What to bring:

Bring any items that you feel best represent the animal or animals you wish to honor. These items will be placed on a temporary altar at Discover Your Spiritual Gifts, and you can take them home with you afterward.

A printed photo
A favorite toy
A small blanket or piece of a blanket
An item that evokes their scent, sounds, mannerisms, quirks, habits, or the feel of their touch
A love letter written to them
A written word or phrase that signifies their presence to you
A stone or item in your animal's signature color

Please note that space is limited. There's no need to bring everything on the list—just one or two items that truly resonate with you. There will be extra items available should you need help finding an object that sparks your soul!

A warm, supportive space to honor and remember your departed animal companions.
An opportunity to share a brief story and a photo of the animal(s) you're honoring.
Creation of a temporary altar to display your items in tribute.
Guided meditation to connect with the love and gratitude you hold for your animal companion.
A group ceremony to celebrate and honor their memory together.
A chance to reflect, heal, and express your gratitude for the time spent with your animal.
A chance to connect with others who not only understand the deep bond shared with animal companions but also the profound sense of grief that lives alongside gratitude in their memories.

Important Details:

This workshop is for human animals only. Please leave your animal companions at home to ensure a distraction-free, focused learning environment and to respect the policies of Discover Your Spiritual Gifts. Rest assured, you'll leave with tools to bring the practice to your beloved companions and other animals.

Parking & Building Access: There is free parking at our location. Come into the building and look for the stairs or elevator to find us on the second floor of the office building.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Refunds are available for cancellations made up to 7 days prior to the start of the class, minus any credit card processing fees. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before the first class are not eligible for refunds or class credits. No class credits are available for this event.

Hi, I'm Jaime!

I am an Animal Reiki Teacher, Certified Companion Animal End of Life Doula, and personal Mesa Carrier in the Andean Shamanic Tradition. I dedicate my time and energy to supporting animals and their human companions during life's most tender moments, creating compassionate spaces for healing, connection, and transformation.

Specializing in Animal Reiki and End-of-Life Doula services, I help pets navigate chronic illness, anxiety, and aging while guiding their families with empathy and respect. As a certified practitioner of the Let Animals Lead® Method of Animal Reiki, I blend mindfulness and presence with practical expertise in animal health and compassionate, non-clinical support during end-of-life transitions. My role as a Mesa Carrier deepens my connection to the natural world and reinforces my understanding of the interconnectedness of all beings, enhancing my ability to support the emotional and spiritual needs of animals and their families with grace and presence.

Guided by my mission to spread compassion, I honor the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all beings. My work reflects a profound respect for the resilience of the human-animal bond and the harmony that emerges when we embrace our shared journey.

Through The Empowered Companion, I offer a heart-centered approach to healing and renewal. While specializing in Reiki and end-of-life care, I also provide Collaborative Feline Behavior Modification and Compassionate Care Pet Sitting. These services empower families to cultivate harmony, connection, and well-being with their beloved companions.
